With Sip’n Shops all the rage, last week Judi Hill, Pam Freitus, and Karen Palmer again collaborated to hold their very personal sip’n shop event in Palmer’s lovely Dionis home. The Great Nantucket Pearl Party has become a much anticipated annual island event. Guests include summer residents, visitors, and year-rounders, all sipping and shopping with personal attention from the jewelry designer Pam Freitus, Judi Hill, and several assistants.
Working with Pam Freitus, Judi Hill opened the Nantucket Pearl Company in 2009 with a few signature designs, including the Must-Have Nantucket Bracelet with custom Nantucket clasps that is still wildly popular. Each year, their selection has grown to include dozens of handknotted necklaces, new bracelet designs, earrings, and pearls and more, all featuring hand-selected fresh water pearls and South Sea pearls. Several of Pam’s jewelry designs are exclusive to Judi and the Nantucket Pearl Company and include design elements that Pam and Judi created together.
