Eye on Style: Serenella
SERENELLA NANTUCKET has expanded their island presence for 2022 so they can bring together an even more impressive range of leading and emerging designers from around the world. Ready-towear continues to be the main focus, along with a vast assortment of fine jewelery, accessories, lifestyle, and an exciting new category: Uomo.
Incorporating the Serenella brand ethos into the inviting décor, the interior of the store at 9 South Beach Street (near the Nantucket Yacht Club) reflects elegant, clean lines with European furnishings and exclusive fabrics & wallpaper from MOYE. It’s the perfect backdrop for an island oasis where discerning seasonal shoppers can enjoy the unsurpassed customer service that puts Serenella-Nantucket in a class all its own.
Owner Leslee Shupe is a fashion visionary: she travels internationally to find designers of incomparable talent who create quality apparel that suits the Nantucket lifestyle. A true influencer with a remarkable eye for high style, Leslee has built relationships with her clients and designers that make Serenella the island destination for securing the most prestigious brands and up-to-the-minute trends created by the world’s fashion elite.

Explore Kiton’s timeless silhouettes, made from the highest quality materials, and shop this exclusive preview of the Fall/Winter 2023 Women’s Collection by this legendary Italian brand. Save the date of Tuesday, August 2, when you can stop by Serenella Nantucket to meet Cynthia Vilchez, founder of Aliita, and shop a curated selection of jewelry. Aliita means “important object” in Wayuu, the native language of Guajiros, located in Zulia, Venezuela—the state where founder Cynthia Vilchez Castiglioni grew up. The jewelry label is now based in Milan and uses quotidian elements like houses, snorkels, letters, and buckets transformed into pure lines with a touch of natural stones, including diamond, emerald, sapphire, and ruby. A percentage of the proceeds that day will be donated to NAMI Cape Cod & The Islands.
Serenella Nantucket has a sister shop in the heart of downtown: Serenella 44 at 44 Centre Street. A special collaboration with Giambattista Valli Beach Club Collection, Leslee Shupe’s second Serenella shop on Nantucket has a more casually elegant vibe. Giambattista Valli is known for couture and red carpet dressing, but Serenella 44 shows his designs that can go from beach to town with ease: swimsuits, dresses, and an exclusive Nantucket shopping bag that Giambattista designed for Leslee.
With more than 40 designers represented in Leslee’s two Serenella shops on Nantucket Island, men and women can dress with exceptional and sophisticated style. Both Nantucket locations are open daily from 10 am to 6 pm through Columbus Day. For online shopping and a complete list of designers, visit serenellausa.com. And when you are in Boston or in Palm Beach, be sure to stop by Serenella and Serenella Via Bice.
