For more than a quarter century, we have encouraged our readers to share their views of Nantucket Island by entering our annual Nantucket Photo Contest. Every year we get hundreds of fun photos that make us smile as they help us remember fun days in the sun, kids jumping in the water, beach picnics, walks along the wharves, ‘Sconset roses, beautiful sunsets, and so much more. As long as the photo was taken on Nantucket any season, any angle, land, sea, or sky is accepted. There are cash prizes for first and second place. Enter as often as you wish, but remember: September 12 is the deadline to enter the 2023 Photo Contest.
Winning photos and many deserving honorable mention will be featured in our Autumn Edition that hits the streets on September 28, and even more will be posted on the Insider’s Guide to Nantucket at online at nantucket.net/photo-contest
