New Locations for an Island Favorite

What’s New on Nantucket

The J. Butler Collection is celebrating its 25th summer season on Nantucket and is excited to announce two new downtown locations for 2023!

You’ll find this favorite boutique home design shop at 3 Old North Wharf within East End Gallery, with additional specialty pieces in a pop-up location inside Kit Noble Fine Art at Zero India Street (across from the Atheneum). The art in East End Gallery and Kit Noble’s photographs allow clients to envision how complete rooms can look.

Each summer interior designer Jeffrey B. Haines, owner of design studio Butler’s of Far Hills in New Jersey, brings his unique pieces—classic with modern sensibilities— to Nantucket Island for The J. Butler Collection. This season’s collection is defined by selective seating pieces, fine antiques, vintage and antique rugs, as well as custom lamps and upholstery.

In collaboration with the East End Gallery, the shop will feature rotating favorites from the gallery. Bringing gallery owner Karen Pelrine’s eye for artistic talent and exceptional custom framing together with interior designer Jeff Haines’ unique attention to detail and eye for one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, this summer’s collection is sure be a special shopping experience and resource for interior designers on the Old North Wharf.

Look for the J. Butler sign just off Easy Street, a few steps down the crushed shell lane that is Old North Wharf. This quaint cottage shop on the wharf is a perfect place to casually speak with designer Jeff Haines about your projects onor off-island. He’s always happy to help you find the perfect piece!
