September 12 is the deadline to enter the 2019 Yesterday’s Island Photo Contest. For more than two decades, this popular contest has been a terrific way for residents and visitors to share their images of Nantucket Island. Any season, any view, any time period (we love the old photos) are accepted, as long as the photo was taken on Nantucket. You might even win a cash prize.
Winning photos and many deserving honorable mention will be shared with our readers in our Autumn Edition, and they will also be posted at Nantucket. net and at YesterdaysIsland. com.
Photos are accepted in print format and in electronic format (high resolution only). Mail your entries in with the entry form at nantucket.net/photos/contests.php to YI Photo Contest, P.O. Box 626, Nantucket, MA 02554. Entries can also be emailed to ackphotocontest@gmail.com — make sure the subject line includes the words “Photo Contest Entry.” Entries must be received by September 12, 2019. Photos received later will be entered in the 2020 contest.
