There are just four days left to send in your entry to the 2013 Yesterday’s Island/Today’s Nantucket Photo Contest. Nearing its 30th year, this popular contest is a fun way for you to share your images of Nantucket Island. Any season, any view, any time period—we love the old photos—are accepted, as long as the photo was taken on Nantucket (take note, Ms. K., who sent us the photo of Edgartown). You might even win one of the cash prizes!
Winning photos and many deserving honorable mention will be shared with readers in our Autumn Edition, which hits the stands on September 26. They will also be posted at YesterdaysIsland.com and Nantucket.net.
Images are accepted as photographs and in high resolution digital format (no low resolution, please). Prints and CDs with digital photos should be mailed in with the entry form in this publication to YI Photo Contest, P.O. Box 626, Nantucket, MA 02554. To send in digital entries, visit the photo contest website at Nantucket.net/photocontest — entries must be postmarked by September 15, 2013. Any received with a later postmark will be entered into the 2014 contest.
