“The Dreamland Gala benefits the programming mission of the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation, which is committed to providing exceptional cinematic and cultural opportunities for Nantucket in our downtown theater,” said the Dreamland’s executive director, Melissa Murphy.
Tickets for the event are $500 and can be purchased online at or at the Dreamland box office at 17 South Water Street. All guests are invited to a cocktail reception in the Dreamland lobby beginning at 6 p.m. The evening’s program will begin in the main theater at 7 p.m. Following the program, a reception will be held on the second floor and in the Harborview Room featuring food, cocktails, dessert, and dancing to live music by the Matthew Hutchinson Trio.
In additon, sponsor level ticketholders of this year’s gala are invited to attend an exclusive cocktail reception before the event aboard gala co-chair Kathy and Roger Penske’s yacht Lime Light.
Also benefitting the Dreamland Foundation is the gala’s online auction of unique experiences, including the 2015 Indy 500 with the Penske racing team, an Anguilla vacation, and a ski getaway to Yellowstone. Bidding will close on July 14 at www.biddingforgood.com/nantucketdreamland
