There just 2 more weeks to win fame and glory in our annual Photo Contest — September 12 is the deadline to enter for the 2025 judging. For more than 30 years, this popular contest has been a terrific way for residents and visitors to share their images of Nantucket Island. Any season, any view, any time period (we love the old photos) are accepted, as long as the photo was taken on Nantucket. You might even win one of the cash prizes.
Winning photos and many deserving honorable mentions will be shared with readers in our Autumn Edition, which hits the stands on September 25. They will also be posted on Nantucket. net and at YesterdaysIsland.com. Many notable past entries can be viewed online at nantucket.net/photo-contest
Email your entries (one at a time) to ackphotocontest@gmail.com. Photos are accepted in electronic format (high resolution only), and remember to include your name in each image tag and your name and address with each entry. The entry form and rules are at nantucket.net/photo-contest-entry
Photos received after September 12, 2025 will be entered in our 2026 contest.
