Celebrating their 75th year, The Artists Association of Nantucket has worked for decades to foster local artists and has just completed a major acquisition project of Nantucket Art Colony works. More than 100 priceless artworks were donated to AAN in celebration of this landmark anniversary.

The Nantucket Shipwreck and Lifesaving Museum has found an innovative way of sharing their exhibits during the global pandemic: they are turning their museum inside out! Instead of welcoming the public inside this year, they are encouraging visitors to come to the museum’s grounds at 158 Polpis Road, to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and see the outdoor exhibits express what would be found inside the museum.

The marginal fog had simmered away until the beach settled clear and blue. We were lolling in our chairs on the south shore before an insistent, distant, and muttering surf. All around us, pink skin stretched over towels, under umbrellas, and in front of phones.
