By Land & By Sea

Nantucket Sounds | Nantucket, MA

By land & by sea, join Egan Maritime for two unforgettable evening programs with American Troubadour Bill Schustik. On Thursday, August 15, at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum, Schustik will take patrons on a musical adventure into the soul of New England and the sea. Then, on Friday, August 16, as part of Egan Maritime’s Nantucket Sounds sunset sail series, he will play traditional folk music that weaves storytelling, rich history, and theatrical performance together aboard Tall Ship Lynx.

American Troubadour Bill Schustik is best known for his sensational baritone voice, ability to play multiple folk instruments, and deep passion for traditional American lore. Egan Maritime is excited to have him at the nation’s first museum dedicated to lifesaving history as well as onboard the iconic, historic Tall Ship. Both venues provide the perfect stage to be enchanted, captivated, and entertained by a seasoned performer & renowned folk musician.

Egan’s Manager of Maritime Education, Evan Schwanfelder, commented, “Bill has the ability to transport patrons to America’s maritime past and take them on a thrilling adventure through his music and theatrical performance. We are excited to have him perform, by land & by sea, in two different settings; it gives people the chance to experience his traditional folk music at two unique, authentic, and historic venues.”

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear folk musician and troubadour, Bill Schustik, perform at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum and aboard Tall Ship Lynx. Tickets for Schustik’s performance at the Museum on August 15 are $40 ($30 for Egan Maritime members). Refreshments and libations will be served. Doors open at 5:30 pm; the performance begins at 6 pm. Tickets to hear Schustik onboard Lynx are $75 each. Patrons are encouraged to bring snacks and beverages to enjoy while under sail (BYOB).
