Nantucket Christmas Stroll Weekend offers many opportunities to start and maybe even finish your holiday shopping.
Johnston’s Cashmere is offering unbelievable prices on Scottish cashmere at both their flagship store at 4 Federal Street and their special pop-up store at 33 Main Street! Think $149 on cashmere tops that are normally $448; two knit scarves for just $78, and cashmere gloves for just $20 to $26.
Head across the street to the Christmas Stroll Craft Show upstairs at 11 Centre Street. You can browse one of the largest collections of Nantucket crafts, including Skar Handcrafted Jewelry, Kent’s Kards, SMac Designs, and more on Friday, November 30 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Nantucket Wharves will also be bustling with sales and hospitality. On Straight Wharf, the Boat Basin Shop will unveil their limited edition knit scarf and of course, there will be great deals too, with up to 50% off select merchandise. Step into the Stroll Sale at Skirtin Around at 2 Straight Wharf and get their fun, flirty designs and bright colors at prices just as alluring.
Your furry friends aren’t left out, because Cold Noses will be selling their exclusive hand painted pet ornaments! Find one that looks like your favorite ball of fur. While you’re on Straight Wharf, be sure you stop by Hill’s of Nantucket on Straight Wharf for some great shopping, refreshment, and a free ticket to their raffle. Winner will be selected at 4 pm on on December 1.
Over on Old South Wharf, Made on Nantucket will be selling 2012 Stroll ornaments, along with their impressive vintage Bakelite collection and other vintage jewelry. Ireland Galleries will be open with refreshments and unusual gifts, and Island Weaves has an array of splendid handwoven items. Also at Island Weaves you can preview the prize basket that will be given to the winner of the Old South Wharf Raffle. Tickets are available at any OSW shop or gallery, and the drawing will be held Dec. 1 at 4:15 pm.
