Holiday Small Works Exhibition

A quiet harbor, swirling snowflakes, steaming cocoa, winterberries and festive greens, mincemeat and pumpkin pies—signs of the holidays on Nantucket. The Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is delighted to announce the opening of the Holiday Small Works exhibition with a festive reception on Friday, November 29, 5:30-8 P.M.

Showcasing gifts of sparkling jewels, oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics, photographs and note cards in the Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery, 19 Washington Street, the exhibition will be on display through December 24, with a Cool Yule party taking place on Friday, December 6, 5:30-8 P.M.

“A festive and joyful long-standing tradition of the AAN, this special holiday show is a marvelous way to kick-off the holiday season and truly offers something for everyone,” said AAN executive director Cecil Barron Jensen.

“All of the artwork has a size restriction of 11 x 14 or smaller, so for those on your holiday lists with limited wall space, this is the ideal exhibition to find that perfect gift,” said AAN gallery sales manager Peter J. Greenhalgh.

The Solo Show Spotlight Artist during this exhibition is Linda Zola.

This exhibition is generously sponsored by Norton Preservation Trust; The Cool Yule sponsor is Geronimo’s LTD. AAN is grateful to ReMain Nantucket, sponsor of The Solo Show Spotlight Artists.
