Artists Association of Nantucket has organized a special island event to benefit the Nantucket Food Pantry and our island neighbors in need: the Full Cup Scavenger Hunt. Running until Friday, November 21, watch AAN’s social media — @ackartists — each Friday to see each new handmade ceramic cup that will be hidden somewhere on Nantucket island.
Want a hint as to where you can find it? The Artists Association staff will email a hint to those who:
1) Make a donation to the island food pantry via this link:
https://nantucketinterfaithcouncil.networkforgood.com/…
AND THEN
2) Send a screenshot or receipt of your donation to our artist in residence Heather Martin at heather@risingtidepottery.com.
AAN staff will respond with that week’s hint!
The first person to locate the cup is the new owner. If you’re one of the lucky winners, send a photo of yourself with your new cup, and tag @ackartists @nantucketfoodpantry @risingtidepottery
This week’s cup is a miniature ornamental mug, with tiny porcelain charm and real gold luster detail.
Other ways to make donations to benefit the Nantucket Food Pantry:
-Drop off a donation, and email us a photo of your receipt or donation box
-Donate at Stop and Shop, and email us a photo and receipt of the items donated.
Cups will be hidden every Friday for four weeks, ending on Nov 21. Additional bonus cups and opportunities to donate will be posted @ackartists.
