UPDATE: NHA’S 3rd Annual Flower Power Party Has Been Cancelled

UPDATE: Out of an abundance of caution, the Nantucket Historical Association has made the difficult decision to cancel their annual Flower Power party that was scheduled for Friday, April 24 in the Whaling Museum.  If you purchased tickets to the event, they will be automatically refunded. The NHA looks forward to bringing the event back next year and appreciate your understanding.

The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is excited to host the 3rd Annual Flower Power Party on Friday, April 24, 2020, 6–8:30 p.m., at the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street.

The Flower Power Party kicks off the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce’s 46th Annual Daffodil Festival weekend. Co-hosted with the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce and N Magazine, Flower Power transforms the Whaling Museum into a festive spring celebration with live music, hors d’oeuvres by Island Kitchen, a look at all the NHA’s new exhibitions, and, of course, prizes for the “best blooming” outfits.

“We are excited to host this fun spring celebration for our third year and help kick-off an island staple, Daffodil Festival. This weekend has come to feel like the true start of the season and continues to grow each year. The Flower Power Party is a perfect way for the community to jump-start their spring and discover what’s new at the Whaling Museum,” says James Russell, NHA Gosnell Executive Director.

The Flower Power Party benefits the Nantucket Historical Association. Tickets are on sale at NHA.org or call (508) 228-1894.
