Tickets Now on Sale for Nantucket Book Festival Events

Nantucket Book Festival

The sixth annual Nantucket Book Festival to be held this year on June 16, 17, and 18, has made some recent additions to their author line-up and is pleased to announce a full slate of ticketed events that will round out the weekend. Ticketed events provide audiences with unique opportunities to hear and interact with their favorite authors, while playing an integral part in paying for the Festival. More than 75% of the Festival programs are free and open to the public.

Recent additions to the author line-up include audience favorite Amor Towles, author of A Gentleman in Moscow; Megan Marshall (Elizabeth Bishop: A Miracle for Breakfast) who will join Kay Redfield Jamison in conversation about two 20th century New England poets, Elizabeth Bishop and Robert Lowell; Francine Mathews (aka Stephanie Barron), author of the bestselling Nantucket Mysteries Series; and Sarah Leah Chase, island culinary icon celebrating 30 years of her Nantucket Open-House Cookbook in print.

The sole fundraising event for the Festival is the Friday evening Author Gala, at the Brant Point Grill at the White Elephant, following the Festival’s Opening Celebration. Ticketholders will enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner overlooking the harbor while rubbing elbows with participating authors. Details and tickets for all events are now on sale at https://nantucketbookfestival.org/festival- info/schedule/

Other ticketed events include breakfast with Laurie Halse Anderson and Nathaniel Philbrick on Friday, breakfast withRuth Reichl on Sunday, luncheon with Nancy Thayer, Mary Alice Monroe, and Michelle Gable on Friday and luncheon with Sarah Leah Chase on Saturday.  Tickets are also on sale to a wine tasting with Bianco Bosker on Sunday afternoon.
